The Village of Wonewoc is situated in
the Baraboo River Valley, on Highway 33
between Madison and LaCrosse. The area
is known for its spectacular view of towering
sandstone bluffs and quiet river scenery.
The area's pine and hardwood forests
draw sportsmen and wildlife enthusiasts
from near and far. Wonewoc is also
the midpoint of the 400 State Trail, a four-season
recreational trail.
